More Room for Your Mission: Inside BSG’s New West View Home

Studios, gathering spaces, and a new nonprofit initiative reflect Erin Miller’s investment in the organizations that strengthen our communities.

A nonprofit has a story that could bring more people into its mission. A small business needs to show customers what makes it worth choosing. Getting those messages out takes time, expertise, and the right tools.

Those needs helped shape Brand Strategies Group’s new home at 446 Perry Highway in West View.

After purchasing the building in February, owner and CEO Erin Miller renovated it to include studios and gathering spaces where organizations can record conversations, create photography and campaigns, and bring people together.

The possibilities are practical: a nonprofit leader recording a conversation about the organization’s work, a business creating photographs for its next campaign, or a team gathering to plan how to reach its supporters.

More than 50 people joined BSG for the ribbon cutting. The celebration also introduced Brand Magic Collective, a separate nonprofit Miller founded to help nonprofits connect with volunteer mentors and professional service providers.

Space to tell your story

For BSG, the investment reflects our work with small businesses and nonprofits that have meaningful stories to tell and limited time and resources to tell them. Bringing creative spaces and professional expertise together opens more possibilities for that work.

“Small businesses and nonprofits are doing important work in our communities, often with limited resources,” Miller said. “We built this space to put more tools within their reach, from studios and equipment to the expertise that helps them tell their stories, reach supporters, and grow their impact.”

Whether an organization is planning a campaign or exploring a new way to share its work, the starting point is the same: understanding what it needs to communicate, who it wants to reach, and what it hopes to make possible.

Investing in Pittsburgh’s community

As a women-owned marketing firm, BSG understands the decisions, persistence, and relationships involved in building a business. That perspective also informs our work on StartUP PGH, the entrepreneurship initiative taking place across Pittsburgh. BSG designed and promoted the initiative, helping bring its identity and message to the community.

Our new home represents another investment in the organizations and relationships that make this region a place to build something meaningful.

A new connection to professional support

At the celebration, Miller announced Brand Magic Collective, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on expanding nonprofit access to strategic guidance, education, professional expertise, and resources that strengthen organizations.

Brand Magic Collective is separate from Brand Strategies Group. Its initial outreach connects nonprofits seeking guidance and professional services with volunteer mentors and service providers in its network.

Interested nonprofits can reach out with a brief pitch describing their purpose, the support they need, and how that support could strengthen their community impact. Any annual reporting that helps explain the organizational need can inform that conversation.

Beginning in Q4 2026, the Collective is working toward securing funding for grants to support equipment needs and expanded services. Grant funding is not yet available; it is a goal for the next stage of the organization’s development.
